A graduate of The Juilliard School, Lauren has been teaching Scene Study, Basic Technique, and Voice and Speech for over a decade at studios in New York and Los Angeles, and at institutions such as Monmouth University in NJ and AMDA-LA.
Usually working in a small-class environment – a maximum of 10 students per class – Lauren is known for using Shakespeare’s texts to hone and refine an actor’s basic techniques and to awaken and broaden the actor’s imagination. Classes are 8 to 10 weeks in length culminating in a showcase in which students perform for an invited audience of agents, managers and theater professionals.
